Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate GCSE Maths & English Tutor to work on a freelance hourly basis and provide personalised educational support to students completing apprenticeships within one of our partner Organisations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GCSE tutoring or teaching, with experience working with post 16 learners. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs.

Responsibilities

Deliver face-to-face classroom taught sessions to small groups of post 16 learners requiring GCSE Maths & English as part of their Apprenticeship Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and address specific learning objectives. Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to enhance their academic performance. Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes student confidence and motivation. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding achievements and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Proven experience in tutoring or teaching at GCSE level, preferably in a formal educational setting. Experience working with post 16 learners, demonstrating an understanding of their developmental needs. . Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with students and parents. Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically. Relevant qualifications in education and teaching at GCSE level.
