The Role



An exciting opportunity has arisen within the School's Admissions Teams based in central Brighton. As a General Admissions Registrar, you will act as the first point of contact for Overseas Partners and direct students, providing information regarding all centres within the St Giles International group (including our UK, Junior & Family centres), assist with enquiries, process enrolments and take any additional steps to increase the likelihood of sales.

Within the role, there will be a varied mixture of direct instruction, independent work, project work, supervised work and team work.

The job demands outstanding customer service skills. You will be expected to compose your own correspondence on a daily basis, and we will encourage and support increased ownership of customer enquiries.

Responsibilities



Act as the first point of contact for Overseas Partners and students, providing information about all schools via incoming calls, emails and other communication channels.

Manage, respond and follow up on WhatsApp and online chat enquires

Process both simple & complex enrolments which would include bookings for services such as tuition, transfers, accommodation, and insurance which are sent through from Overseas Partners.

Process changes to enrolments, including amending invoices and issuing refunds which are sent through Overseas Partners.

To operate and maintain the school's Customer Management System (CMS)

Liaise with Principals, Accommodation Heads and Academic Management at individual centres regarding availability, special requests

Liaise with the Marketing Department, the Sales Department and other personnel at Head Office on a wide range of different requests

Take any additional useful actions to increase the likelihood of sales

Maintain good relationships with both direct students and Overseas Partners, offering quick support & assistance over the phone and via email.

Consistently deliver outstanding customer service

Keep the Group Admissions Supervisor, the Principals and Senior Head Office Staff informed of all important matters.

About You



Previous experience within customer service, administration and/or sales.

Hardworking with an excellent work ethic

Excellent organisation skills - meticulous and well-organised with a proven ability to multitask.

Enthusiasm for the company and industry

The ability to prioritise work, to meet deadlines and to work as part of a team

Good interpersonal skills

Good IT skills (familiar with Microsoft Office/Teams and be able to quickly learn how to use new software)

Willingness to learn, able to take on board feedback and be reflective.

A minimum of 3 A-Levels or equivalent

High standards of spoken and written English (B2+ on CEFR scale or similar)

High standard of numeracy and literacy

Right to work in the UK

Desirable:

Fluent in additional Foreign languages
