Job Description

3G Metal Fabrications is seeking a reliable, hands-on General Assembler & Forklift Driver to join our fast-paced production team. This is a dual-role position involving general assembly duties and operating a forklift to support our production and dispatch areas. As a vital part of our manufacturing process, you will help assemble products to meet our high standards and ensure efficient materials handling.

Key Responsibilities

Assembly Duties

Assemble parts and furniture according to specifications. Interpret and follow assembly instructions accurately. Use hand tools and machinery for assembly tasks. Conduct routine quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance. Support other production departments as required.

Forklift Operation

Safely operate a forklift to move materials, load/unload deliveries, and manage warehouse stock. Ensure all forklift activities comply with health and safety regulations. Assist in maintaining an organised and safe warehouse environment.

General Duties

Maintain required paperwork accurately and on time. Keep work area and equipment clean and well-maintained. Immediately report any issues, damages, or defective parts to supervisors. Follow all health and safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in an assembly or manufacturing role preferred. Valid forklift licence and experience operating forklifts are essential. Ability to read instructions and interpret work orders. Hands-on, proactive approach with good attention to detail. Willingness to work as part of a team and assist in different areas when needed. Physically fit and comfortable with manual tasks and lifting.
