About the Role



We are seeking a reliable and proactive General Assistant to support the Drill Pipe Inspection Department. This role involves assisting with the handling, cleaning, and preparation of drill pipe for inspection, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance with safety and quality standards. The General Assistant will contribute to the efficient operation of the department by supporting machine operators, aiding other teams as needed, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities



Operate designated machinery safely and competently, adhering to all HSE and housekeeping standards Perform assigned tasks efficiently and effectively Minimize waste by handling raw materials and consumables responsibly Maintain a clean and safe facility at all times Support machine operators and assist the Fitting and Maintenance departments as needed Ensure smooth workflow by moving components to the correct stations Provide general support to other facilities within the Tuboscope site including Yard, Inspection, and TK Liner Comply with all company policies, especially regarding health & safety, quality, and housekeeping Follow inspection criteria and procedures without exception

Qualifications & Skills



High School education or equivalent required Working knowledge within a similar role preferred; training will be provided Commitment to Quality Assurance procedures and improvement initiatives Willingness to participate in necessary training

Interpersonal Skills

(optional)

Team-oriented with strong communication skills Flexible and dependable with a positive attitude Proactive in supporting cross-departmental collaboration
