Duties

Assist in food preparation, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Provide excellent customer service by serving food and beverages promptly and courteously. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Employ basic math skills for handling transactions and upselling menu items effectively. Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies as needed. Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience through friendly interactions and upselling techniques. Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills and knowledge of food safety practices.

Requirements

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred, demonstrating familiarity with food preparation and serving techniques. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential. Basic culinary skills, including knife handling and cooking techniques, are advantageous. Strong time management abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A keen interest in the culinary field, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills. Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
