Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic General Assistants to support catering operations in our care homes. This role involves helping with food preparation, meal service, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring residents enjoy a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation, plating, and serving meals. Support the catering team with kitchen and dining room duties. Ensure cleanliness of the dining area, kitchen equipment, and utensils. Help with setting up and clearing tables. Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations. Provide respectful and friendly assistance to residents during mealtimes. Work collaboratively with catering and care staff.
Experience
Interest in catering and hospitality. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good teamwork and communication skills. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends. Friendly and supportive approach to residents.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 1 month
Pay: 12.44-13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
Work Location: In person
