Job Title: General Assistant Catering

We are currently seeking a General Assistant Catering to join our team in Marlborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks within the catering department, including food preparation, serving customers, cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area, and ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained at all times.
HOURS OF WORK: 37.5 hours per week, 5/7 days. Shifts to be determined by the Catering Manager. Term Time plus Summer School (40 weeks per year)
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation and service as directed by the Head Chef or Catering Manager
Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area
Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines
Provide excellent customer service at all times
Assist with inventory management and stock control
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a catering or kitchen environment is desirable but not essential
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Ability to work well as part of a team
Flexibility to work varied shifts as required
