Overview

We are seeking a motivated individual to fill our of General Assistant, who will live on site in our double bedroom maisonette (included in the role) to join our friendly team at our boutique accommodation in Clifton, Bristol. The ideal candidate will have hospitality experience, including breakfast chef, housekeeping and front of house. Ideally we would like the candidate to be confident to deal with any maintenance issues that may crop up (training provided). This position is perfect for a person who thrives in all things hospitality and enjoy working in a varied role covering all aspects of the industry.

Duties

Responsibly for food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas. Breakfast waiting service. Housekeeping. Front of house and administration. Engaging with customers in person, via the telephone or over email providing excellent customer service. Assisting management in the daily running of the business to include stock control. Manage time effectively to ensure all duties are completed efficiently during service hours. Assisting with handling and coordinating all orders required for the daily running of the business. General maintenance to the building.

Accommodation

Accommodation is included in the contract, we offer a one double bedroom mainsonette onsite with balcony and terrace.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is essential. Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively. Knowledge of food safety practices is an advantage. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues. Willingness to handle any maintenance issues that may arrise.
