General Assistant/kitchen Porter
Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a General Assistant/Kitchen Porter to join our team at one of our workplace restaurants that also caters for conference and events on site in Solihull B90 4LF.
This is a permanent position working 40 hours a week, 5 over 7, between the hours of 8am and 4:30pm. Occasional overtime will be required in order to cater for conference and events. All overtime will be paid.

The role involves upholding the highest standards of service, presentation, cleanliness, and food preparation, working as part of a team with excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail. This position plays a key part in the smooth running of the kitchen, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised environment for food preparation. The role can be physically demanding and may involve carrying out repetitive tasks.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Be highly organised and comfortable working in a high-pressured environment Ensure you have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety Keep up standards of hygiene and ensure all areas are clean and tidy Have excellent customer service and social skills Be responsible for the preparation and serving of food to staff Have a can do attitude and will work well as part of a team of 5 Be customer focused Be willing to participate and enjoy working part of the team
