We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction tasks, demonstrating proficiency with both power and hand tools. This role involves working on diverse projects, including roofing, painting, electrical work, plumbing, fabrication, masonry, and carpentry. The Builder will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Operate power tools and hand tools effectively to complete construction tasks.
Construct and repair roofs, ensuring structural integrity and weather resistance.
Execute painting tasks with precision for both aesthetic and protective purposes.
Conduct electrical installations and repairs in compliance with safety regulations.
Perform plumbing duties including installation and maintenance of pipes and fixtures.
Fabricate materials as needed for various projects, ensuring accuracy in measurements.
Carry out masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all health and safety guidelines.
Skills
Proficiency in using power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders.
Strong knowledge of roofing techniques and materials.
Experience in painting techniques for both interior and exterior surfaces.
Understanding of electrical systems and ability to perform basic electrical work.
Skills in welding for metal fabrication tasks.
Competence in plumbing systems installation and repair.
Ability to fabricate custom components as per project specifications.
Experience with masonry techniques including bricklaying and stone setting.
Strong carpentry skills for constructing frameworks, structures, and fixtures.
Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
