Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable

Builder / Site Manager

to join our growing construction company. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in all aspects of building work including

extensions, loft conversions, full property renovations, and new build projects

.

You will be responsible not only for delivering high-quality workmanship on-site but also for

managing projects independently

from start to finish. This includes

coordinating trades, overseeing materials and timelines, and managing a team of up to 10 workers

to ensure smooth and efficient job delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out hands-on building work including structural alterations, roofing, groundworks, and general construction Manage residential construction projects with minimal supervision Supervise and motivate a team of tradespeople on-site Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and building standards Keep projects on schedule and within budget Communicate progress and issues clearly to the company and client

Requirements:

Proven experience in domestic building projects, particularly extensions, lofts, and renovations Strong organisational and leadership skills Ability to read and interpret plans and drawings Full UK driving licence CSCS card preferred NVQ or equivalent trade qualification desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 180.00-250.00 per day
