Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team. As a Builder, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and renovating various structures. The ideal candidate will have experience in multiple trades and possess a strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
- Perform various construction tasks, specifically foundations, brickwork, lintels and roofing. Other tasks including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, tiling, etc.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions
- Install fixtures, fittings, and appliances
- Fabricate and assemble structures using power tools and hand tools
- Ensure all work is completed according to safety regulations and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Builder or in a similar role
- Proficient in multiple trades such as plumbing, masonry, carpentry, roofing, welding, painting, electrical work, etc.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, tools, and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality craftsmanship
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Essential:Full UK Driving licence

Clear enhanced DBS Check

A good level of fitness

Knowledge of building methods and materials

Be able to diagnose maintenance problems and identify solutions.

Be able to organise and prioritise a varied workload to meet targets.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Able to work at heights.

Awareness of on-site health and safety

Minimum 5 year's experience

Have own hand / battery tools. Own van desirable; however, not essential. (mileage allowance paid for business use only)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
