UNiTY Development Group Ltd is seeking experienced and ambitious General Builders to join our growing team and maintain longstanding working relationship.
This is a hands-on, site-based role ideal for professionals who take pride in their craftsmanship and want to work locally in Sheffield for a company who cares about it's team and strives to go above and beyond. Successful candidates will be assessed during a two-week trial period to determine fit and final remuneration.
Key Responsibilities
Execute general building tasks across residential sites.
Ideal candidates would come from the ground up experience level.
Perform ground work, foundations, brickwork, blockwork, stonework to a high standard.
Read, understand and work from architectural and engineer related drawings independantly.
Collaborate with site teams on varied weekly projects.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism.
Required Skills and Experience
To be considered, applicants must demonstrate:
Proven experience in general building (references and portfolio required).
Competency in joinery, brickwork, plumbing, and plastering.
Additional experience in groundworks or roofing is highly desirable.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Understand the interrelation of the other trades and later stages of works, in order to prevent issues or problems for other team members later on in the build.
