Keystone Group: All Trades One Place is a fast growing trades services company providing a one stop shop property repairs, maintenance and building solution. We take pride in our friendly and professional approach delivering reliability, quality and value for money for our customers. We work with a wide range of clients from individual home owners to landlords, letting agents, housing associations and local authorities.

We are seeking to recruit an additional general builder to our Trades Team either PAYE or self-employed. The work will mainly involve brickwork repairs, repointing, bricklaying and fencing. Other duties may include groundwork, drainage, paving and studwork. The right candidate will possess a positive and friendly personality and be willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Be fully up to date with current building regulations Have a good understanding of site health and safety and work to company health and safety systems at all times Understand and deliver building work from groundwork to bricklaying in full concordance with building regs and architects plans Laying of foundations and other concrete work Slab laying and supply of other hard standing surfaces Carry out brickwork repairs including installation of air bricks, replacement of damaged bricks and repointing of cement joints Be conversant in the use of Cable Avoidance detection tools or willing to learn Removal or replacement of fence posts incl. use of breaker and auger Installation of timber and concrete fence posts Installation of panels and feather edge fencing Work alongside carpenters to support installation of studwork, joists and rafters Keep work sites clean and tidy at all times

Knowledge and experience in all aspects of building incl. groundwork, bricklaying and first fix carpentry Knowledge and experience in fencing incl. use of relevant tools to detect and avoid cables Fully conversant with site health and safety rules Fully conversant with building regulations Attention to detail and takes pride in their work Polite and respectful of occupants space incl. ensuring a clean work environment at all times Team player with positive solution focused attitude
