Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team, responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining various structures. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in building trades and demonstrate proficiency in using both hand and power tools. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. The majority of our works are domestic including contracting extension and new builds but we also have maintenance contracts and building out work and relationship with public sector works.

Responsibilities

Construct and assemble structures using wood, metal, and other materials. Perform masonry tasks including bricklaying and stonework. Carry out carpentry work such as framing, roofing, and finishing. Fabricate components as required for various building projects. Operate power tools safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the project duration. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project timelines are met.

Experience

Proven experience in building or construction roles is essential. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools is required. Experience in masonry, drainage, groundwork's, carpentry. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately. A valid driver's licence is required, own van and tools preferable. SMSTS would be desirable but not essentia.
