We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and be adept at using both hand and power tools. This role involves working on various building projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Builder will be responsible for executing tasks related to carpentry, masonry, roofing, and more.

Duties

Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks. Perform carpentry work including framing, installing doors and windows, and constructing structures as per specifications. Carry out masonry tasks such as laying bricks or blocks for walls and other structures. Conduct roofing activities including installation, repair, and maintenance of roofs to ensure durability and weather resistance. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocols. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion within deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Strong skills in carpentry; experience with electrical work is advantageous. Knowledge of masonry techniques and ability to perform basic welding tasks is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills. Physical stamina required for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
