We are seeking a skilled Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in various construction trades and be capable of executing a range of building tasks. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Duties
Construct, repair, and maintain structures using various building materials.
Perform masonry work including bricklaying and stonework.
Carry out electrical installations and repairs as required.
Weld components together for structural integrity and durability.
Plumb fixtures and fittings to ensure proper installation and functionality.
Fabricate custom components as per project specifications.
Execute painting tasks to finish surfaces with attention to detail.
Work as a carpenter, constructing frameworks, roofs, and other structural elements.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasks.
Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to high standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction or a related field is essential.
Strong skills in masonry, electrical work, welding, plumbing, fabrication, painting, carpentry, and roofing are highly desirable.
Proficiency in using both power tools and hand tools is required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is an advantage.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this role.
A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential.
