The Role:
We are looking for a skilled General Builder to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work across various sites, taking on a variety of tasks that showcase your versatility and craftsmanship. From laying foundations to finishing touches, your work will be integral to the success of each project. In addition to your hands-on building duties, you will have the opportunity to lead your own team on certain projects. This role is perfect for someone with strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out a wide range of building tasks, including bricklaying, carpentry, plastering, and more. (Not all trades expected)
Lead and manage a small team of builders, ensuring projects are completed to a high standard and In a timely manner.
Work closely with site managers and other tradespeople to coordinate activities on site.
Maintain a safe and tidy working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and team members to ensure smooth project delivery.
Problem-solve and adapt to challenges that arise during the course of a project.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a General Builder in the construction industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
Excellent understanding of building techniques, materials, and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings.
High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
A full driving licence are essential.
