Job Description

We're looking for a General Cleaner to keep the Wimpole Food and Beverage department in excellent condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit.


This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You'll work 624 hours per year. You'll be on a shift pattern of 4 days 'on', 4 days 'off' rota, including weekends.

18th, 19th and 24th June 2025

What it's like to work here:As a Cleaning Assistant, you'll be joining a vibrant and energetic team in the Food & Beverage department. Based at Wimpole Estate, you'll be part of a brand-new team of 4 who will be supporting the F&B department within the three F&B outlets. You'll play a pivotal part in ensuring that the cleaning activity is fully completed. Full training of what's required and use of equipment will be provided.

What you'll be doing:You'll be helping with the day-to-day cleaning and presentation of the National Trust's buildings and outdoor spaces.


Duties such as cleaning, sweeping and litter-picking, both inside and outdoors, form a core part of this role. You'll aim for the highest standards of customer service everywhere you look after.
