We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic person to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be hands on with an eye for detail and eager to learn. This role will include machining/turning/grinding to produce parts primarily for injection mould tools. It will also include the manufacture of parts for other industries as needed, as well as fitting, assembly/disassembly of moulds, mould and machine maintenance. The candidate will have the opportunity to learn how to use CNC mills, lathes and EDM machines should they wish to progress their career and look to become a toolmaker. Responsibilities
Operate milling machines, lathes, and grinding equipment to produce high-quality components.
Conduct assembly of parts and ensure proper fitting and functionality of tools.
Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and fault analysis
Utilise hand tools for precise adjustments and repairs on tooling equipment.
Support the team with installation and commissioning of new moulds and mould repairs.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment while adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Some form of previous engineering experience, whether that's from a previous job or from further education.
Experience with milling
Familiarity with plastics injection moulding processes is an advantage but not essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
