Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Handy Man to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and installation tasks across our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach, strong technical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills to ensure the smooth operation of our premises. The position offers an opportunity to utilise your joinery,electrical, plumbing and supervisory expertise in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities Flexible travelling to different types of properties. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals accurately Supervise maintenance activities, ensuring safety standards are upheld Ensure all work is completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal or external client requests promptly and professionally Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities

Requirements

Proven experience of maintenance work Skilled in basic plumbing techniques Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and maintenance procedures Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively Experience supervising or leading teams in a maintenance environment Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Leadership qualities with the ability to organise tasks efficiently and motivate team members Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
