Amin Haque Solicitors is a busy and growing practice based in Oldham specialising in Personal Injury, Immigration, Family, Housing Disrepair, Landlord and Tenant and General Litigation (debt recovery, data breach, professional negligence). We're an ambitious firm with a vision to expand. As part of our growth plans, we are a looking for talented and experienced Paralegals & Solicitors to join our growing team.

Amin Haque Solicitors have an opening for a Litigation Paralegal to join the Landlord Advice Service team.

We're looking for a self-driven, professional and ambitious paralegal who is able to work as part of a team and on their own initiative. The ideal candidate must possess great interpersonal skills with a key focus on delivering great customer service; every customer, every time. The ideal candidate must be able to work to tight deadlines and be self-driven.

The vacancy is suitable for paralegals with a proven record of assisting on litigated cases. Experience of dealing with possession claims, debt recovery and/or housing disrepair claims would be ideal. The ideal candidate must have completed the LPC with at least 12 months legal experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist on a mixed caseload of possession claims, debt recovery and housing disrepair cases. Maintain client records and contact information, via our Case Management systems Dealing with clients and keeping clients updated from initial enquiry to completion of the matter. Instruct experts and counsel where necessary. Assist in the business development and growth of the department including but not limited to attending exhibitions, conferences, preparing tenders and attend business networking events. Attend CMCs, local possession hearings and trials. Maintain your own calendar and the firms CRM system. Take initial instructions from clients.
The successful candidate must have:

Completed the LPC Minimum of 12 months paralegal experience Have excellent communication skills The ability to maintain professional conduct at all times Great time-management skills A flexible approach to work Excellent computer skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional appearance

This is a full-time, permanent position, 9:30am-5:30pm Monday to Friday.
