10 hours per week, part-time, term-time only, permanent



Based at Newman School kitchen in Whiston, this is a permanent post working 10 hours per week. The hours are to be worked Monday through Friday on a term-time only basis, around the lunchtime period.



Newman School caters for young people with SEND from ages 2 to 19.



The post-holder will work as part of a hands-on busy team, delivering an essential and quality catering service in school.



You will be required to assist in:


The preparation, cooking and service of meals. Ensuring that all hygiene standards are maintained, and that food rooms and associated areas are cleaned to a required standard. Possession of a Food Safety Certificate Level 2 is desirable or willingness to undertake available training to attain certificate.




A uniform will be provided.
