Based at The Willows School kitchen, this is a permanent post working 5 hours per week. The hours are to be worked Monday through Friday on a term-time only basis (45.8 weeks), around the lunchtime period.



The post-holder will work as part of a hands-on busy team, delivering an essential and quality catering service in school.

You will be required to assist in:


The preparation, cooking and service of meals. Ensuring that all hygiene standards are maintained, and that food rooms and associated areas are cleaned to a required standard. Possession of a Food Safety Certificate Level 2 is desirable or willingness to undertake available training to attain certificate.




A uniform will be provided.



The Willows School accommodate pupils age 7 to 19 with a range of moderate learning difficulties; some with additional needs such as speech difficulties, children on the autistic spectrum and children with emotional and behavioural difficulties.
