Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various tasks on-site, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges. Working away from home is a requirement for this position.

Responsibilities

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general site maintenance and cleanliness to ensure a safe working environment. Follow instructions from supervisors and work collaboratively with team members. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required, adhering to safety protocols. Participate in the setup and dismantling of temporary structures or equipment. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks as needed, providing assistance where necessary. Report any safety hazards or incidents to supervisors promptly.

Skills

Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects. Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work well within a team environment while also being self-motivated. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous but not essential. Attention to detail with a focus on safety practices at all times. Willingness to learn new skills and take on various tasks as required.
