Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our company as a General Labourer. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting handymen, performing general labour tasks, and maintaining a clean and organised work site.

The ideal candidate should have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a willingness to learn and contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities:

Assist handymen and other tradespeople with various tasks, such as carrying materials, setting up equipment, and handling tools. Perform general labour duties, including digging trenches, running cables, and installing conduit under the supervision of experienced professionals. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work site by sweeping, removing debris, and organizing materials. Assist in loading and unloading materials, ensuring they are properly stored and secured. Follow instructions from supervisors and actively participate in team meetings and briefings. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. Report any safety concerns, accidents, or incidents to the appropriate personnel. Learn and develop new skills related to electrical work and construction through on-the-job training and guidance. Show a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to take on additional responsibilities as neede
Ideal candidate:

Previous experience in a construction or electrical environment is preferred but not required. Physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team environment. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is a plus.
