We are a small, family-run business based in

Ashford, Kent

, with a high volume of ongoing local work. We are currently looking for a

self-employed General Labourer

to work alongside our existing team on jobs across Ashford and the surrounding areas.

All work is

local

no long-distance travel required

This role would suit a reliable, practical individual who is happy working on a self-employed basis. Flexibility and good communication are important, as you may have your own work commitments.

Typical work may include:

Clearing and repairing gutters Confidence working at height and on ladders required Site-specific ladder and working-at-heights training provided where necessary Drainage and groundworks, including drainage installation and digging Toilet and sink clearances General labouring support as required
Requirements:

Previous labouring or construction experience preferred (but not essential) Comfortable working outdoors and with manual tasks Reliable, professional, and respectful when working at customer properties Good communication skills Clean driving licence beneficial Aged 25 or over due to insurance requirements Applicants must have the

legal right to work in the UK

(proof required prior to commencement)

Work offered based on workload and mutual availability Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, approximately

8:30am-4:30pm

Zero drugs policy

A

satisfactory DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check

is required due to the nature of the work Opportunity for

increased day rates as skills and experience develop
