Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team, this is in a metal work engineering environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with general factory duties and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team environment. Reliability and punctuality is essential.

Responsibilities

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment Perform general maintenance and cleaning of work areas Follow instructions from supervisors and senior staff to complete tasks Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required Support skilled tradespeople in their duties Maintain safety standards at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning as necessary

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory Knowledge of health and safety practices within a construction or industrial environment is beneficial

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
