Key Responsibilities of the General Machinist:

Read and interpret technical drawings Set up and operate manual and CNC machines Perform drilling, tapping, boring, milling, turning, and grinding Use measuring equipment to ensure accuracy and tolerance Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean workshop environment Complete job-related documentation accurately Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and company policies

Requirements of the General Machinist:

Proven experience in a machining role Strong understanding of technical drawings and machining processes Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and programming Ability to inspect and maintain tools and equipment Good communication, planning, and problem-solving skills Flexible and adaptable with a strong attention to detail

Redditch, Worcestershire

Salary:

Up go 16 per hour (dep on exp)

Hours:

38 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 8:00-16:45, Fri 8:00-13:00)
