Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and versatile General Maintenance Engineer carry out day to day planned and reactive maintenance across multiple site in and around London. The role involves a variety of general building services and facilities tasks including plumbing, minor electrical work, emergency light testing and general repairs. It would also involve assisting other skilled engineers giving the opportunity to learn new skills. The ideal candidate will possess a general mechanical and electrical knowledge, plumbing, alongside excellent customer service skills. The role also requires availability for out of hours call outs on a rota basis. Overtime paid for attending call outs.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Perform general building fabric repairs such as decorating, Lamp checks and emergency lighting checks Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the installation, service or repair of new equipment or systems as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English. A proactive attitude towards safety and compliance within the workplace. Ability to carry out general duties and possess own tools and power tools. Current Driving Licence General plumbing, electrical and mechanical experience as well as general DIY
