The Role

The role is a brilliant career opportunity to make a significant impact within the organisation at an exciting time with a new UK MD, that you will report into, recently joining the business. The Barnoldswick facility is key to the overall UK business strategy and the new MD is now seeking an energetic, ambitious and commercially minded Manufacturing Operations professional to take an already well performing business to the next level across a number of production process, people leadership and site culture objectives. Key duties-

Manage all areas of Operations to agreed targets and layout the strategic direction for the operations group in line with business strategic plan. Accountable for legal / corporate compliance across the operational team and their disciplines - HSE etc. Responsible for the production forecasting and analysis for all operations functions in formats for reporting at all levels within the organisation. Develop operational plans and timelines to deliver the business needs. Including facilities, human resources, physical assets and supply chain. Identify and implement improvement within the operational team and overall site

We are seeking an energetic and ambitious manufacturing operations manager who has a track record in people leadership, developing a workforce and the ability to deliver continually improving production results. Strategic and commercially focused in your management experience, you will have a genuine desire to lead positive change within the work environment through an authentic and trustworthy approach. The new UK MD is open minded on the manufacturing industries the successful candidate has operated in career to date, if you have a former engineering career background that has developed into Operations management it would be beneficial but is not must have. This role would suit professionals with a proven track record at the role level (GM, Head of Operations, Operations Manager etc) or equally a developing manufacturing operations professional (e.g. Production Manager) looking to take a step upwards to site leadership level.
