We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our establishment in delivering exceptional hospitality and culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hotel management, food production, and leadership within the hospitality sector. This role requires a passion for supervising teams, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of service. Can be 40 or 48 hours and can be a 4 day working week for the right person. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the hotel and restaurant, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Lead and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.
Implement and uphold food safety regulations and standards across all culinary operations.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Manage inventory, ordering, and food production processes to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with culinary teams to create innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting guest preferences.
Monitor financial performance, preparing reports on operational metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the establishment.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hotel or restaurant industry.
Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully supervising diverse teams.
In-depth knowledge of food production processes and culinary practices.
Familiarity with hospitality management software and operational systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
