The Opportunity We're seeking a commercially-minded General Manager to step into a critical leadership role during a period of rapid growth. This is more than an operational role--it's about scaling what's already working and building on the momentum. This 3-month fixed-term contract is ideal for a growth-oriented leader who thrives in fast-moving, high-impact environments. For the right candidate, this will become a full-time leadership role with potential equity and performance-based incentives. Key Responsibilities 1. Growth & Business Development Work directly with the CEO, CFO and Technical Service Delivery manager to drive revenue growth across existing and new service lines. Identify new opportunities to expand key accounts and win new business Build relationships with partners, referrers, and strategic clients to accelerate inbound leads Own the commercial pipeline and support sales in converting high-value opportunities 2. Operational Leadership Oversee day-to-day delivery across our global service teams (CRM, CPQ, and RevOps consulting) Be hands-on in supporting the delivery team and maintain high standards, where required. Monitor utilisation, margin, and service quality, ensuring we continue to scale profitably Work with technical service delivery manager Implement systems and processes to improve service efficiency and delivery consistency Lead team meetings, manage resourcing, and support hiring during peak periods Customer Success + Account Management Act as an executive sponsor for key accounts, ensuring their strategic needs are met Monitor client satisfaction, engagement, and renewal readiness Take ownership of managing and resolving any client escalations which are not able to be managed by the Technical Service Delivery Manager--ensuring swift, strategic outcomes Proactively identify at-risk accounts and work with service leads to get things back on track 3. Strategic Execution Translate company goals into executable plans across sales, delivery, and client success Use performance data to identify gaps, opportunities, and priorities across the business Champion continuous improvement--whether it's operational workflows or client engagement Who You Are Experienced business leader with a track record of running or growing a digital services business (e.g. RevOps agency, marketing ops, CRM consultancy, SaaS services, etc.) Revenue-first mindset--you understand what it takes to grow a service business and can spot opportunity fast Strong commercial acumen--you can confidently manage a P&L and make data-informed decisions Great communicator--comfortable managing clients, team members, and stakeholders alike Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure as you scale Bonus Points For Previous experience positioning a business for M&A deals and/or fund raising experience. Experience in Revenue Operations or MarTech/CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot, Clari, DealHub) Exposure to private equity-backed or founder-led scale-ups, with good relationships within the UK investor ecosystem.
