Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our establishment. Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality and service. Manage and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Implement effective training programmes for new employees in food preparation, cooking techniques, and hospitality practices. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols. Develop and manage menus, ensuring they reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely food production deliveries. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. Conduct regular performance reviews for staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance team performance. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote special events and menu offerings.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking. Demonstrated leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in kitchen management or barista roles is advantageous. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with staff and customers alike. A passion for delivering exceptional service within a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
