We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a strong team focused on customer service excellence.
Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and maximize profitability.
Utilize POS systems such as POS for efficient cash handling and sales tracking.
Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling practices are followed.
Develop and manage budgets while monitoring financial performance to achieve business goals.
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
Coordinate special events, catering services, and banquet operations as needed.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen management practices.
Familiarity with inventory control systems and budgeting processes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred; banquet experience is a plus.
Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills.
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining financial integrity.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Culinary experience or formal training in hospitality management is advantageous.
