As the GM, you will take ownership of the company's Scottish operations, acting as the face of the business across the region. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance commercial responsibility with people management, client engagement, and operational oversight.

Working closely with the senior leadership team, you'll shape the future of the Scottish business, maximising growth opportunities, building long-term client partnerships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery across a varied customer base.

Key Responsibilities:



Take ownership of the Scottish operation, driving revenue growth, cost control, and overall business performance

Act as a key contact for regional clients, fostering strong partnerships and encouraging repeat business

Identify and secure new commercial opportunities to support long-term growth and success

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and smooth service delivery

Build and maintain supplier relationships while negotiating value-driven agreements

Lead, motivate, and develop the local team, embedding a positive culture and high-performance mindset

Ensure all activities meet the required standards in health, safety, and compliance

Work closely with the wider leadership team across the UK to align objectives, share knowledge, and drive continuous improvement

What We're Looking For



Proven experience in a senior management role within hire, logistics, facilities, technical services, or a related sector Strong commercial acumen with a track record of driving profitable growth Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams First-class client management and relationship-building abilities Operational oversight experience, ideally including depot or logistics management A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the drive to make a tangible impact
