We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service. This role requires a proactive approach to managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities



Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the establishment. Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a skilled and motivated team. Implement effective team management strategies to enhance productivity and morale among employees. Collaborate with culinary teams to develop innovative menus that align with customer preferences and seasonal trends. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of food production materials. Maintain financial oversight by managing budgets, controlling costs, and maximising profitability. Foster relationships with customers to enhance their dining experience and encourage repeat business. Address any operational issues or customer complaints promptly and effectively.

Skills



Proven experience in a managerial role within the food or hospitality sector, preferably in restaurants or hotels. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary practices, and food safety regulations. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team. Exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of operations. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of service. Experience in bartending is considered an advantage but not essential. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with staff and customers alike.
