Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our Tap Tavern site in Maryport. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pub percentage management, team management, and sport. With good community based skills.
This is a 18.5% percentage based business, with live in availability.
All Entertainment costs covered at an agreed rate.
A Sky Sports Package to drive sport within the venue is paid for across multiple screens.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the pub, including sports and service.
- Manage and lead your own team of staff members, providing guidance and support
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with the owners and area manager to find opportunities within the area to drive sustainability.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving targets
