We are seeking a talented and experienced General Manager at our brand new Hampstead Heath location (opening in February 2026) to lead our front of house team in delivering exceptional and knowledgeable customer service. This role will also include being accountable and the first point of contact for all restaurant based operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the day to day running of a busy restaurant as well as understanding the complexities of multitasking and being organised. They must have a passion for hospitality, team management and delivering a rememberable experience for all our guests. As mentioned, as the General Manager, you will oversee all operations, ensuring that our menu items both food and beverage are being prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Supervise and manage all waiting staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment along with creating rotas.
Oversee both coffee and kitchen departments ensuring they are inline with our processes, adherence to recipes and our presentation standards.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the work space and storage areas.
Have a focus on business growth and networking within the community.
Train and mentor your staff and leadership teams, holding them accountable to all food safety practices and our operational procedures.
Oversee inventory levels and ordering front of house supplies as needed.
Collaborate with all department staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Monitor the restaurants performance metrics, adjusting processes as necessary to improve efficiency.
Help the senior management team create future events and evening offerings.
Experience
Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role within a high-volume environment.
Experience and examples of going above and beyond for customers.
Strong relationship building and methods of developing a strong operating team of supervisors and seniors.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment and plan months ahead.
A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering outstanding experiences.
Comfortable using different systems to run the day to day operations, ie POS, ordering, health & safety platforms.

Some training will be required once the successful candidate has been hired at our flagship shop in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. This location is a 10 minute walk from Harpenden train station.
