Brand new building opened April 2025, located adjacent to Canterbury Hall student accommodation.
City Studios are looking for an experienced manager in the hospitality/property sector, to run our brand new building in Preston consisting of 134 self-contained apartments and communal facilities.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the residence
- Coordinate and supervise staff members, including maintenance, housekeeping, and security personnel
- Ensure that all resident needs are met and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle resident inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Maintain accurate records of resident information, lease agreements, and maintenance requests
- Assist with leasing activities, including showing units to potential residents and processing applications
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and maintenance work
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance the overall resident experience
Requirements:
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is essential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, staff, and vendors
- Proficient in using property management software such as Yardi or similar systems
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of office procedures and administrative tasks
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Upselling skills to promote additional services or amenities to residents
- Professional phone etiquette when interacting with residents or external parties
