Established in 2010, D Hughes Hospitality is a growing hospitality business based in North Wales. With over 100 employees across 5 venues, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join our family as General Manager at the St Tudwals Inn, Abersoch.

Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly in food preparation and restaurant management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, a passion for culinary excellence, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. Accommodation is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage all aspects of our operation in Abersoch, ensuring a high level of service and customer satisfaction. Develop and implement training programmes for team members, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain high standards of food safety. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote business offerings and enhance customer engagement. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service.

Requirements



Proven experience in a management role within the hospitality or restaurant sector. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of operations. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers alike. A passion for hospitality, coupled with a commitment to delivering an outstanding dining experience.
