Responsibilities
Lead and motivate the restaurant team to achieve high standards of food quality, customer service, and operational efficiency.
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including shift management, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations to foster a productive work environment.
Supervise food preparation, kitchen management, and food safety protocols to ensure consistent quality.
Handle POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
Maintain budgetary controls, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to meet financial goals.
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed in accordance with industry standards.
Oversee customer service standards to enhance guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Coordinate catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed.
Implement training & development programs for staff to improve skills in food industry best practices.
Manage vendor relationships for supplies and equipment procurement while controlling inventory levels effectively.
Uphold hospitality management principles by creating a welcoming environment that promotes team collaboration and guest loyalty.
Experience
Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments; fine dining or hotel experience is a plus.
Extensive background in food service management including kitchen management, food production, catering, and bar operations.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, interviewing skills, and staff training & development.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to oversee shift management in a high-volume environment.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and hospitality management.
Experience in budgeting, cost control, inventory management, and operational planning within the food industry.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence across diverse dining formats including casual dining and banquet services.
