We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee our establishment, ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and culinary excellence. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations while maintaining a focus on quality, service, and profitability.
Duties
Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house activities.
Supervise and train staff, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and exceptional service delivery.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimising waste.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, motivation, and conflict resolution.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysing sales data to drive profitability.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations as well as licensing laws.
Experience
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant sector is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary operations.
Experience in supervising kitchen staff and bartending is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for the culinary arts combined with a solid understanding of hospitality principles is highly desirable.
