We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, including food service, and possess exceptional leadership skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing daily operations, ensuring the highest standards of health and safety and customer satisfaction while fostering a positive team environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of bar restaurant operations, including cocktail design and serving. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage bar operations and have an excellent understanding of business finances. Supervise staff, providing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance. Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service throughout the establishment. Collaborate with culinary teams to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Handle staffing needs, including recruitment, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Implement effective marketing strategies to promote the bar and attract new customers.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the bar sector. Strong cocktail experience with knowledge of varying preparation techniques and presentation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Previous experience in barista settings is an advantage. Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
