Having undergone a full 150k refurbishment taking the venue to one of the finest within the region. We are now looking for an outstanding individual to inspire and direct all areas Food and Beverage operation to new levels to mirror our newly refurbished surroundings, ensuring the highest levels of service and standards, to be recognised as Yorkshires best venue.
Owned and managed by MATTGRAY Hospitality - Yorkshire based Hospitality management company, The Drovers Arms is now recruiting for an experienced General Manager to continue supporting our Head Chef, Mike Cummings delivering a superior food offering, exceptional customer service and that all important outstanding Yorkshire service.
Owners Graham and Matthew whom have over 25 years' experience in some of Yorkshire's best restaurants and hotels have a clear passion for creating the best restaurant and bar experience whilst maintaining a simple, personal and family approach to both food and service.
As a General Manager you will have autonomy and the responsibility to control and co-ordinate the business with a clear focus on sales, F&B management, control of payroll and costs, demonstrating and leading by example our high levels of service, customer interaction, knowledge, skills and training of the team.
You will have the foresight and ability in planning ahead, not only with rotas, bookings, orders etc but team training, events, special offers, promotions and all year round sales and social activity.
We are looking for an individual who has a 'can do attitude' able to work on your own initiative and has a passion for great customer service, award winning food and a passion to run something very special.
You will have similar experience and maybe looking for that next step in your career. Working for established operators will give the right applicant the opportunity to work in an already reputable and progressive business and management company.
This is a full time hands on role, 5 days out of 7.

This role can be offered as live in, offering self contained two bedroomed accommodation above The Drovers. Charges do apply.
