Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and team management skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality, and customer service are maintained while fostering a positive work environment.

Duties

Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving. Supervise kitchen staff and front-of-house teams to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company standards. Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Oversee food production processes to guarantee quality and consistency in all menu items. Implement training programs for staff to enhance culinary skills and hospitality service. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing any concerns or feedback promptly. Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that align with customer preferences. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.

Requirements

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry. A Good knowledge of Cask Ales Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in food production. Be self motivated Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and enhancing guest experiences.
