We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the hospitality and culinary sectors, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding service. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations, ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
Duties
Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient food production and adherence to safety standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness in the kitchen.
Develop and implement training programmes for new staff, focusing on culinary skills, hospitality, and customer service.
Supervise daily activities, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment.
Foster a positive team environment through effective team management and leadership practices.
Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues to enhance guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events and menu offerings.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Previous experience in hotel or barista settings is advantageous but not required.
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
