Job Summary


We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate General Medicine Specialist (SPR) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care across a broad spectrum of medical conditions, utilizing advanced clinical skills and experience in diverse specialties such as internal medicine, outpatient and inpatient care, and clinical research. The successful applicant will demonstrate proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, possess strong clinical judgment, and be committed to continuous professional development.

Duties



Conduct thorough medical assessments, including physical examinations and patient history reviews, ensuring accurate documentation within EMR systems. Manage a wide range of medical conditions across outpatient and inpatient settings, including acute care, chronic disease management, and preventive health services. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools such as CT scans, radiology, and medical imaging to inform clinical decision-making. Perform procedures including suturing, IV infusions, airway management, catheterization, wound care, and other minor interventions as required. Collaborate with specialists in fields such as cardiology, endocrinology, neurology, nephrology, oncology, psychiatry, and others to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Participate in clinical research initiatives and contribute to quality improvement projects aligned with hospital standards such as NCQA. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Provide education and health coaching to patients regarding disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence. Engage in discharge planning and follow-up care to optimize recovery outcomes post-hospitalization or outpatient visits. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology, CPT/ICD coding for accurate documentation and billing.

Experience



Proven experience working in inpatient or outpatient settings within internal medicine or family medicine. Familiarity with a broad range of specialties including cardiology (including cardiac catheterization), pulmonology (ventilator management), gastroenterology (gastric lavage), dermatology, rheumatology, immunology, infectious disease care, and pain management. Experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms is highly desirable. Prior involvement in clinical research or participation in clinical trials is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to perform procedures like suturing, neurocritical care interventions (e.g., spinal tap), respiratory therapy techniques including ventilator management, and post-operative care. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and physiology across various organ systems. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are preferred. Experience working within hospital environments such as Level I or Level II trauma centers is a plus. Pay: 60.00-65.00 per hour
