Location: Carey Glass Chester (Glass Processing Facility)

About the Role:

Carey Glass Chester is seeking dedicated and reliable General Operatives to join our team in our glass processing facility. In this role, you will play a key part in producing high-quality glass products while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will work within a collaborative team environment, meeting daily production targets while ensuring the smooth operation of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Department Manager or Line Leader, following their guidance and direction. Ensure all glass products are processed safely, efficiently, and meet the highest quality standards. Collaborate with the team to meet daily production goals and deadlines. Strictly adhere to Safe Systems of Work (SSOWs), safety protocols, and quality procedures. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Take pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Key Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience in the glass industry (e.g., hand cutting, obscures, fan holes) is a distinct advantage. Ability to work well as part of a team and take direction from Line Leaders and Managers. Flexibility to work overtime and various shifts when required. A strong focus on quality, accuracy, and safety. A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
