General Operative

to join our growing team at

Greystone Quarry

, just outside Launceston.


This isn't your average yard job--

you'll be working at an open-cut dolerite mine

, supporting the production of over

400,000 tonnes of aggregate per year

with a 3-phase processing plant. It's big, it's bold, and it's the kind of place where no two days are ever the same.

What You'll Be Doing

Operating mining equipment safely and efficiently (360 excavator, loading shovel, and more). Supporting production and processing of materials to keep the plant moving. Working collaboratively with your team to deliver high standards in both safety and output. Maintaining a clean, hazard-free site--and looking out for your mates. Learning every day--whether that's through training, new tasks, or specialist equipment exposure.

What You'll Bring

A

positive attitude

and commitment to working safely--for yourself and others. Ideally,

experience operating 360 excavators or loading shovels

--but

full training

is available if you've got the right mindset. A love for hands-on work and getting stuck in. A flexible, proactive approach to new challenges and working as part of a team. Motivation and energy--you're someone who takes pride in a job well done.
